Permanent NSW public school teachers and executive staff, you could get paid to study part time for up to two years to enhance your understanding of, and ability to meet, the learning and support needs of the full range of students at your school. With the Every Student, Every School: Learning and Support Sponsorship for teachers and executive staff, you could study a masters in special education, inclusive education and sensory disabilities.
The following universities offer approved masters in special education, inclusive education and sensory disabilities:
- Charles Sturt University
- Deakin University
- Flinders University
- Griffith University
- La Trobe University
- RIDBC Renwick Centre
- University of Newcastle
- University of New South Wales
- University of New England
- University of Sydney
- University of Western Sydney
- University of Wollongong.
Note: The above list is not exhaustive. New programs delivered by other universities may be available.
The Learning and Support Sponsorship for teachers will be undergoing a program review for 2018. The program will re-open for applications in term 1, 2019.
